A Coach Love Affair (and Shop My Fave Coach Outlet Picks)

When I was younger, Coach was one of the ultimate luxe brands to me.

Or at least, a luxe brand my 13-year old self could aspire to. This was in 2008 and at the height of Coach’s Poppy relaunch (if you don’t remember Poppy, it was a colourful and fun line of Coach bags and accessories that lasted through the early 2010s). On our annual trips to Florida, I would look enviably at all the ladies with their Coach Outlet shopping bags. One way or another, I would get that Poppy bag.

Flash forward to 2023, and my love for Coach has not abated! I love shopping Coach’s collabs (especially the Disney collections) and finding great deals on classics from Coach Outlet.

Speaking of classics: this briefcase! I bought this navy blue briefcase in Buffalo, a couple days before I was set to start articling in Toronto. Yes, I was about to start my law career without a briefcase until I found this one. While now I usually take a tote bag to work for day-to-day, I will always take this when I’m in court or an ADR proceeding. It’s a no-nonsense piece.

I love Coach’s wristlets - I have several and they’re great to throw into a large tote bag to keep track of my cards and cash. The hot pink one is very on-trend (Hi Barbie!) and adds a little pop of colour to this simple Uniqlo dress.

Then, a little vintage. I was so happy to come across this Poppy windowpane-print bag on Poshmark. It was in perfect condition and combines two of my favourites: windowpane and Coach Legacy Stripe.

The watch has a classic Coach khaki monogram strap (you can get a similar one here). The pointed ballet flats were actually another thrifted Coach find! They’re so cute and classically feminine and I was thrilled to find these.
